Blog malfunction

Seems to be my turn for a blog malfunction. One of my postings seems to have lost it's title and is blending in with a later post on Cousin Emmy. Don't quite know how to fix this. I have heard that others have glitches like this on occasion. Bear with me here.

  1. Hi,

I don't think I would label anything Cousin Emmy played as bluegrass. She was a solid old-time banjo picker, guitar player, harp blower, and singer of old-time country songs.
The Osborne Brothers did have a huge bluegrass/country hit with her song "Ruby Are You Mad at Your Man," though. And the Stanleys did a version of another song she recorded in the late 1940s - "Pretty Little Miss Out in the Garden" - that they in turn learned from the New Lost City Ramblers.
